Once more, the German legislator had to pass a bill to comply with International and European requirements concerning access to justice in environmental matters forced by judgements of the European Court of Justice and a Decision of the Fifth Meeting of the Parties of the Aarhus Convention. The article presents, explains and evaluates the legal adaptations focusing on regional and urban planning law.
