The German government is applying pressure. Energy from renewable sources should make up a large proportion of electricity production, in order to facilitate an abandonment of the use of fossil fuels and nuclear power in future. This goal can only be achieved by the firm establishment of smart grids. There currently exists a pressing need for decentralisation, especially the decentralisation of information. As long as this need persists, it may pose an
